Abu Tamima reported: A man from Balhujaim said,

Abu Tamima reported: A man from Balhujaim said, “O Messenger of Allah, to what are you calling?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I call to Allah alone. If He lets you be harmed, you will call upon him and He will remove it. If you are lost in the wilderness, you will call upon Him and He will bring you back. If you are afflicted by famine, you will call upon Him and your crops will grow.” The man said, “Advise me.” The Prophet said, “Do not abuse anyone and do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother with a smiling face or sharing what is in your vessel with a thirsty person. Wear your garment halfway between your shins, but if you must then let it down to your ankles. Beware of dragging your garment because it is ostentation. Verily, Allah the Exalted does not love ostentation.”
