Jarir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم asked him on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage to make the people silent, and then he said: “Do not return to unbelief after me by killing each other.”

جَرِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ ” اسْتَنْصِتِ النَّاسَ ” ثُمَّ قَالَ لاَ تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ
