99 Names of Allaah
A large number of the Beautiful Names of Allaah (Asmaul Husna) are repeated manifold in the Qur`aan as demanded by the occasion & it is necessary to explain their meanings in a succinct way.

Allah is the proper name of God, however, we know Him generally through His attributes. These attributes describe how Allah manifests Himself to us. God's attributes are innumerable since human intellect cannot possibly comprehend every aspect of the Supreme Being.

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
The Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allah has ninety nine Names, one hundred less one; and who memorized them all by heart will enter Paradise." (Bukhari, The Book of Tauhid)

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There are ninety-nine names of Allah; he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise. Verily, Allah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd number. And in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are):" He who enumerated them." - Sahih Muslim [035 : 6475]

It's written on the Holy Qur'an:

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ فَٱدۡعُوهُ بِہَا‌ۖ وَذَرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلۡحِدُونَ فِىٓ أَسۡمَـٰٓٮِٕهِۦ‌ۚ سَيُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
"Allah's are the fairest names (Asmaul Husna). Invoke Him by them. And leave the company of those who blaspheme His names. They will be requited what they do." (7:180)

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَطۡمَٮِٕنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۗ أَلَا بِذِڪۡرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطۡمَٮِٕنُّ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ
"Those who have believed and whose hearts have rest in the remembrance of Allah. Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest!." (13:28)
